We worked with a neat and strong international team of collaborators and entrepreneurs at Timepath. We started with an intensive Design Sprint including user research, brainstorming, customer journey with a targeted niche, design iterations including lo-fi to hi-fi sketches and wireframes, storyboard of user flows and finally got more practical testing a clickable prototype on live user interviews where we validated our assumptions and applied improvements creating a friendly and useful interface in a relatively short period of time (about 6 weeks).

For this project my contribution to this project was relevant in the following areas:
Design challenge proposition
Idea generation and development
Storyboard
Idea implementation
Wireframes and screens design
Prototype design
Prototype test interviews with potential users

PERSONAS AND TARGET USERS
We decided to take the journey from the perspective of the Publishers, bloggers, and content creators because we thought it might be interesting to see how these groups might interact more and take the experience to another level.
First use journey
We considered 3 personas for this research stage including the following groups:
1. Publishers, journalists, and bloggers
2. Academic researchers, teachers, and students
3. Marketing professionals, companies
From these groups, we selected the publishers and bloggers to start with our research and plan the implementation of our design ideas and assumptions. This group stood out due to its potential activity by feeding our website with interactive content, the participation of these users with our tool, and the relevance in their results.
IDEATION AND BRAINSTORMING
We used different techniques to formulate ideas and find a clear path in our creative process.

Solution Sketch
From these exercises, we got different options for our features and usability of the Timeline tool. We selected the most attractive idea and were ready to implement it so we could put hands-on work!

STORYBOARD

Web application improvements
In addition to the design sprint for the Storytelling tool, I have collaborated on creating some of the visual assets and UX design screens of the Web application. To be more specific I worked with the Landing page and Discovery page, implementing different improvements on the actual flow for visualization of the website.
For example one of these improvements was adding the possibility of categorizing the timelines, improving the SEO of the profiles and the search engine on the website.
